What is aegyosal surgery?
Aegyosal (the 'love band' or pretarsal roll) is the slim fullness of the orbicularis muscle just below the lower lashes that appears when you smile — it is not an eye bag. It can be enhanced with reversible hyaluronic-acid filler (15–30 minutes, 0–3 days downtime, lasting about 6–12 months or more), micro- or nano-fat grafting, or surgical pretarsal augmentation with a dermal strip or ADM for longer-lasting results (40–70 minutes, about 3–7 days of swelling).
