What is a sub-brow lift?

A sub-brow lift (sub-brow excision or under-brow lift) removes a strip of excess skin just below the eyebrow to lift sagging upper-lid skin without changing the eyelid crease. It suits thick upper-lid skin, outer hooding and patients who want to keep their natural or existing crease, and is often preferred by people with Asian eyelids or a history of double eyelid surgery. The scar sits along the lower edge of the brow, stitches come out at about day 5–7 and the cost in Korea is typically about US$2,000–3,800.

The right technique depends on where the excess skin sits.
